“Our mission is to inspire healthier, happier, better informed communities by helping you understand how holistic nutrition can play a role in reducing your risk of getting cancer, fighting cancer and if you do have it, preventing relapse, and managing autoimmune disease.”

How Eva’s journey began
Eva Ashworth is a 39 year old trying to make a difference.
She was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick and moved to Calgary in 2005. She married her high school sweetheart in 2009 and they lived in Calgary, Alberta with their 3 beautiful daughters until July 2020 when they moved back to their hometown to be closer to family.
Eva’s first real introduction to the role of nutrition (or lack thereof) in health - and specifically with autoimmune health - was when she lost her sister in 2008 to congestive heart failure brought on by mismanaged Type 1 diabetes. Over the years she has also lost multiple relatives to cancer, and began worrying about herself and her three girls’ and possible susceptibility to cancer. While working as a Manager for a technology company in Calgary, Eva's passion for food, health and nutrition continued to grow.
In 2017, Eva lost her best friend to cystic fibrosis - and that was a turning point for her. She became passionate, and one could say obsessed, with whole foods and health. She devoured every documentary she could find on the topic and read articles constantly. But it was often confusing, and hard to discern which were accurate and telling the truth. After the loss of her best friend, Eva knew she had an insatiable urge to know more. Because documentaries, and some articles, are biased, she wanted to learn to know for herself what she and her family should be eating. So she requested information from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition on becoming certified in holistic nutrition; however, after considering it, she decided it wasn't the right time and did not enrol.
In January of 2019, when Eva was on maternity and struggling with postpartum depression and isolation, she watched and read a lot about finding your passion and purpose. So, almost 2 years later to the day, right after the 2 year anniversary of her best friend’s passing, she enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. As a foodie, Eva knows about food - and that it has to be delicious. Becoming a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant would allow her to know how to work with food therapeutically to help people.
A few months into the program, Eva realized that she couldn't keep all the knowledge to herself. She had to share everything she was learning, and help people. She became intrigued specifically by the immune system and decided that was what she wanted to specialize in. Autoimmune conditions and cancer have become so prevalent and the connection to lifestyle and nutrition is not widely known. So Eva is decided to change that. To ensure she could provide the best support for her clients, she also obtained her Holistic Cancer Coach Certification and launched an integrative nutrition constituting firm called The Immune Warrior.
And she began working with people who are dealing with autoimmune disease, cancer, and inflammation.
With an evidence-based, practical whole food-based approach and simple nutrient-dense recipes, Eva works with people who are dealing with autoimmune disease, cancer, and inflammation. She helps them take control of their own health and give their immune system what it needs to fight disease. Eva’s goal is to help you fight disease with your own body: the ultimate weapon. Her goal is to inspire healthier communities by connecting people to real food and empowering people currently fighting disease to use food to fight back.
